Holiday Workshops
All workshops are led by our amazing and talented designer, Laurel, in our beautiful timber greenhouse. All materials are included and no experience is needed. Spaces are limited, so call to book your spot soon! Dress warmly and bring your gardening gloves if you have them!
Frost & Bloom: Festive Hellebore Planters
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026

Meet the hellebore, the Christmas rose: a hardy evergreen perennial that opens its blooms in the depths of winter, just when we need them most. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, Laurel will guide you through building a living holiday planter around a blooming hellebore, layered with fresh greens, textured accents and a touch of festive sparkle.
You'll learn how to layer for height and fullness, and care for your planter so it carries on through winter and into spring, when it can move to the garden. It makes a beautiful welcome at the front door, or a thoughtful gift that keeps on growing.

Merry Mischief Trees

Bring the whole crew and make some happy holiday mischief! During our Holiday Open House, Laurel will help you build your own whimsical, wonderfully wonky Grinch-style tree: a curved topiary of fresh evergreens finished with bright baubles, ribbon and a playful topper. Little hands can decorate while grown-ups help with the greenery, and every tree comes out a little different, just the way it should be. It's a festive, easygoing way to start the season together and go home with a cheerful piece for the porch, mantel or kids' room.

Fa La La Forage: Wild Holiday Wreaths

Forget the tight, perfectly round wreath. This one is wild at heart. Inspired by walks through coastal forests and along the shoreline, Laurel will show you how to build a loose, organic wreath that looks almost like it grew that way. You'll layer fresh cedar, fir and other West Coast greens with locally foraged embellishments such as lichen-covered twigs, cones, seed heads, dried grasses and other found textures, letting shapes trail, curve and break the circle. It's perfectly imperfect, a little untamed, and completely your own. You'll learn the techniques that keep a free-form design balanced and secure, plus tips for keeping it fresh all season.

Every holiday table needs a showpiece. In this hands-on morning workshop, Laurel will guide you through designing and building your own lush, foraged-look coastal Christmas centrepiece. You'll layer fresh cedar, fir and other West Coast greens with branches, cones, seed heads and natural textures, and add room for candlelight, creating a loose, organic arrangement that feels like it was gathered from the forest floor. Along the way, Laurel will share her favourite tips for styling the rest of your table around it, from runners and textures to candles at different heights, so your centrepiece shines without crowding the plates. You'll leave with a stunning, ready-to-use centrepiece, the know-how to keep it fresh through the season, and plenty of inspiration for your holiday table.
